ASUS Eee PC 1000HE 10.1-Inch Black Netbook
exceeded our expectations. the single most amazing quality of this netbook is its battery life, which is just amazing. in real-world use, this netbook can literally be used all day without plugging it in. that is extremely convenient. we also love the quick startup time - it only takes ~30 seconds to completely boot up from a cold start. the keyboard is comfortable, the hard drive is bigger then we expected from a netbook, and we really don't notice any performance issues. would be nice if it had an optical drive, but it's easy enough to connect an external one when needed.
