Apple Mac mini MC238LL/A Desktop
I bought this to use as a Home Theatre PC and I couldn't be happier. Quick and easy to set up with HDMI cable adapter to Sony LCD 32" tv and Toslink cable for digital audio output to AV receiver. Plays 720p content with DD 5.1 flawlessly and after installing Perian software I can play any format available for download. Awesome! Kicks my Apple TV into touch, if only I found out about this option before spending US$200 on ATV.
